About the role
Barakah is a food-rescue marketplace connecting people to exclusive finds from the restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and grocers they already love across Saudi and Bahrain. As Social Media Specialist, you'll own our presence end to end. You'll plan and publish across Instagram, TikTok, X, and Snapchat, shape our voice in both Arabic and English, and turn everyday moments into content people stop for. You'll work closely with content, design, and partnerships, and you'll have real room to test formats and take swings.
What you'll own
- ✓Day-to-day publishing and community management across Instagram, TikTok, X, and Snapchat
- ✓The monthly content calendar, from concept through to scheduling and publishing
- ✓Shooting and editing lightweight in-house content: Reels, TikToks, Stories
- ✓Working with creators and UGC contributors on briefs, delivery, and usage
- ✓Weekly and monthly reporting on reach, engagement, and what's actually driving app installs
- ✓Trend-watching across the GCC social landscape, and moving fast when something's worth jumping on
What we're looking for
- ✓1+ years running social channels for a brand, agency, or platform
- ✓Native Saudi Arabic speaker and strong English. You write naturally in both
